Our embroidery guild has a small ongoing project for the year, to make a stitch sampler by sewing a particular stitch each month.
I decided to chop up a favourite pair of jeans and choose little areas of interest to stitch on. Some pieces have seams and others are almost threadbare and very faded.
I really love using paper and fabric together so this just scratched my itch, rusting-printing both to make the cover:
