Had another lovely day in good company exploring the third in our series on the elements. I am making a small wabi sabi style journal using the four elements. For instance, this time I have used bubbles and the blowing of paint. For ‘fire’ I ignited one page and dripped melting wax down another. The spine is a piece of drilled driftwood. I may blacken one end so that it encompasses each element and wind – it was grown in the soil, shaped in the seawater and dried in the sun. Just thinking if it will need some attachments when finished?
